Like many artists I was interested in art very early as a child. Later that interest in art turned into a career as a technical illustrator creating black and white line art to be used in equipment manuals. Now, after 20 years of creating technical drawings, I have turning my efforts towards a more traditional illustration role.
Because of the speed and the ease of use I rely primarily on digital illustration software focusing mostly on vector illustration rather than raster images. Though I rely heavily on software to create illustrations for clients, I am still attracted to the line created by hand using a pen and a piece of paper.
Is an artist's work every done? It is a process, a development over time, to become the artist we all are, in one way or another, meant to be.
